This gorgeous monochrome painting was done using acrylic paints and added rhinestones to represent the leaf details.
The background is like a vortex of monochrome which draws your eye through the tree and the foliage.
It was inspired by my love of trees and their form and the fact that a tree stands tall with its roots deep into the soil to support itself even when things are tough it hangs in there.
